Brand Refresh & Action-Driven Tournament Landing Page
Whatcom Waves is a Bellingham nonprofit using sports to drive climate, racial, and social justice. They needed a bold, modern refresh to replace an outdated DIY site and make their women’s fundraiser tournament easy to join. I led discovery to clarify mission, vision, and audience needs; reviewed 10 comparable sites; and mapped user journeys for players, sponsors, and the community. The resulting identity—vibrant colors, modern type, and energetic buttons—infuses action across the page, while a fixed right-side ticket keeps the primary CTA always in view. The landing page simplifies registration, tells the story behind the event, and strengthens the Waves’ presence in the local community.
